What does a wedding planner do?
A wedding planner is an organizer Busy couples can't find the time to research and contact their wedding vendors or deal with the nuts and bolts of planning a large event. We keep couples on track and structured throughout the wedding process so that you can relax and enjoy your engagement.

A wedding planner is a creative director We work with you to capture your vision and style. With our help, you can achieve a highly personalized and detailed wedding that your guests will remember.
A wedding planner is an on-site event producer We are there, on the wedding day, managing the details so that you don't have to. From set up to tear down, we are coordinating your other wedding vendors, solving problems on the spot, and bringing everything together just the way you imagined it.
A wedding planner is an advocate We understand the stress couples experience as a result of the planning process and we work to alleviate it. We run interference, help you with etiquette questions, and talk you through wedding day jitters.

How much do you charge?
At A Day To Remember, we establish a flat fee with each client based on the services we are rendering. We do not charge a fee based on the percentage of your overall wedding budget. Remember that as wedding planners, we strive to save you time and money.

Is a deposit required?
For our complete and Day Of wedding planning packages, a deposit is required for A Day To Remember to "black out" your wedding day on our calendar. For day of wedding planning, the deposit is $250 and for our complete services, it is 25% of the total fee.

What happens during the initial consultation?
It is important that you feel comfortable with and trust your wedding planner. The initial meeting is a time for the couple (and any other important parties) to meet with and get to know your planner. A Day To Remember can answer all of your questions and get a better understanding of which of our services fits your needs. A Day To Remember will also show you some of the tools we use to help keep couples on track during the planning process.

My caterer has approached me and offered to coordinate my wedding? How are their services different from yours? What about a reception site coordinator? Your florist or caterer may be a natural at event planning. They may have invested in the resources and staff necessary to fully plan and coordinate your important event. Great florists and caterers are naturally energetic and creative individuals, whose years of expertise as a wedding vendor make them uniquely qualified to add event planning to their repertoire. Just remember to vet them as you would any wedding planner. Check their references and experience and make sure they have the capacity to perform the services you need.
Many reception locations offer you the services of an on-site coordinator. Remember that they are there to see that everything runs smoothly at the location. Find out if they will be proactively contacting your vendors to confirm load in, set up and tear down details and whether they will work with you to develop an event timeline.
